Adhesive Tape Cascade (part one)
eleven complete rolls of adhesive tape stuck to the celling beam of the gallery. For the duration of the opening the tapes gently fall to the gallery floor. The properties of the tape, weight verses strength of adhesive, determine the rate at which the tapes fall.
Adhesive Tape Cascade (part two)
the unraveled tape is cut, and the spools rehung in the sequenced they touched the gallery floor. ie. fastest to slowest. The process is repeated, until the tape runs out or the remaining tape is not heavy enough to fall to the floor, leaving the spool hanging.
