Best Before October 26, 2008
I am inviting you to help me collect products marked "Best before October 26, 2008", a date that coincides with the closing of my forthcoming exhibition at Arcadia University Art Gallery, Glenside, Pennsylvania.
All products* labeled with this date and delivered (or shipped) to the address below will be displayed on a shelf or refrigerator (if necessary) in the gallery space to comprise a collection of seemingly random things unified by their expiration date.
In exchange for any items donated, you will receive two (signed) photographs of the collection, one taken on the day of expiration, the second taken the day after expiration.
All participants will be credited by name.

*With the exception of diary products, freshly baked goods, produce, and other immediately perishable items. Products dated by their manufacturers with shelf-lives in excess of a few days are preferred. Thank you.
